Lacey + Bailey - Savannah, TN Wedding
When I put Bailey in position for the first look I asked him if he was excited. He said yes and told me that he'd wanted to marry this girl since day one. He would have taken her to the court house that day if she'd agreed.
And then I melted because that's adorable.
So, I love these bridesmaid dresses. Can I have one?
In the week leading up to the wedding the forecast for Saturday was 90% chance of thunderstorms all day. I was nervous, so I'm sure Lacey was nervous too. Well, as luck would have it the rain held off all day until the reception (which had already been moved inside). I hate that Lacey didn't get to have her outdoor reception that she planned, but I'm super thankful that we were able to do photos and everything else without dealing with rain. It started to sprinkle right after the couple arrived at the reception so I decided to take just a few cute umbrella shots.
I seriously had so much fun at this wedding reception. The food was incredible and I LOVED the band. If you're looking for a wedding band I recommend these guys. They were very entertaining and great to work with.

Lacey + Bailey - Savannah, TN Wedding
Saturday's wedding was INCREDIBLE. Not only did I get the chance to work with an amazing couple, but I had so much fun at their wedding. Lacey and Bailey are beautiful together and I'm so glad I got the chance to share their special day with them. Here's a preview of their wedding photos!
The Driveway
I love this photo. Of course I love it because of the people in it, but I also love it because of where it's taken. Last June I was invited to shoot a wedding that took place on family property. The place I liked best on the property was this driveway with these amazing trees that meet in the middle. Who doesn't love a road with trees that arch over it? Everyone loves that.
I took a photo of the bride and groom on this driveway and it was pretty universally the favorite photo. The couple and their family and friends loved that one on the driveway. This driveway connects the property from that wedding and the property of the groom's cousin. Months later the groom's cousin Mallory (photographed above) contacted me to take engagement photos of her and her fiance Joseph. We took photos in several places, but the one place their requested was this driveway connecting the family homes.
Mallory & Joseph - Savannah, TN Engagement
Earlier this month I was so blessed to be able to work with Mallory and Joseph. These two are so much fun to be around and are so sweet. We did a beautiful fall engagement session full of laughter and joking around. I hope you love it! Let me know what you think!
