Mariah + Caleb - Cookeville, TN Wedding

In spite of just about everything going wrong, Mariah and Caleb’s wedding turned out perfect. First, the wedding had to be postponed… you know, because of earth being a giant disease. Then, the wedding venue flooded just twenty-four hours before the wedding was supposed to take place. Not to mention a dozen other little things that could have taken this day to a screeching halt. Oh, also it rained.

But Mariah and Caleb were all smiles and game for anything. We got amazing photos down by the water, managed to avoid getting rained on (mostly), and at the end of the day two cool people were married. That’s about all that counts.

Bethany + John Michael - Alabama Wedding

I was so excited that Bethany and John Michael chose me to be their wedding photographer. Bethany is such a special person to me, and it's been wonderful to watch her fall in love with John Michael. I didn't meet John Michael until the day of the wedding, but I could immediately tell that he loves Bethany, and loves her two babies. I think their new life together will be filled with love. 

Bethany's dress was so beautiful! I love seeing the different personalities that wedding dresses reflect. 

Little River, being just like mommy and putting on make up in front of the mirror before photos. Luckily, she just played with the brushes and didn't actually try to apply any. 

Bethany and John Michael didn't want to see each other before the wedding, but they wanted an opportunity to pray together. I love that these two took a moment to just be together with God before everything got hectic. 

She's so pretty!

Journey did an excellent job walking his mom down the aisle. 

Marry someone who looks at you like this. 

After making vows to Bethany, John Michael knelt down and spoke to Journey and River. It was a private moment, and we didn't hear what was said, but this moment got me right in the feeler. If this doesn't get you, you can't get got. 

The kids are suddenly disinterested. Haha!

The brand new family!

Taylor + Andrew - Nashville, TN Wedding

Taylor and Andrew's wedding was so lovely. It reminded me of a fairy tale all day. Taylor is beautiful to start with, but then put her in a Cinderella ball gown dress and wow! 

Taylor had a first look with her brother, which I thought was so special. The wedding day is a big deal for everyone, not just the bride and groom! And his reaction was so sweet. :) 

Taylor and Andrew did their first look in this beautiful garden, which only added to the fairy tale feel of the day. 

She looks like Cinderella, right!?

This was a first for me. Taylor rode up to her wedding in a HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE! It was so magical!

Rachel + Price - West Tennessee Engagement

Rachel has been one of my best friends for a long time now. I remember first meeting her through mutual friends (who ended up being in my wedding). She eventually was the props manager for a theatre production I was acting in and she had to make me little fake blood capsules every night - and that's where it started. We liked each other's sense of humor and began talking more and more. After that we soon became friends and she's been a part of my life ever since. A little over a year ago she started dating this nice guy who makes her super happy and now they're getting married! Watch out for photos of that one - I'll be the bridesmaid standing next to her. :)

Meadow Hills Styled Shoot - Nashville, TN

Earlier this year I threw together this beautiful styled shoot with some amazing Nashville wedding vendors. I'm so thankful to everyone who was willing to donate their time and effort to this project. I think it turned out lovely! 

I love the use of natural color palettes and used neutrals as inspiration for this shoot.
